Having also been a television journalist and broadcaster for the BBC on science and technology features, Waseem now has a unique science-fiction to science-fact bridge after transitioning to acting.

He currently stars, and also has a voiceover role, in a recurring character in the Doctor Who spin-off series “The War Between The Land And The Sea” for the BBC and Disney.  Before that, he co-starred in DC’s Pennyworth (a Batman prequel drama from WarnerBros/HBO).

AS A SPEAKER: Waseem’s  interests and keynote topics cover artificial intelligence and smart home and smart gadgets – how they could save consumers money, and the metaverse and how it could change the way we all live and work.

AS A JOURNALIST:  Waseem has won industry recognition for his work in British Television Journalism and more recently has appeared in award-winning productions for Network Rail, the mental health charity Chasing The Stigma, and The Open University.   The latter film: “Beyond Belief: talking to the dead”  won scores of awards on the international film festival circuit.
