Verónica Carralcázar’s media career began at the age of 17, when she started visiting her local radio station in her hometown of Lucena, Córdoba, in southern Spain. Fascinated by the presenters and their work, she soon began contributing to a number of programmes before eventually hosting her own music show. It was during this time that Verónica realised she had found the career she wanted to pursue.
At 20, after moving to Granada to further her studies, Verónica began presenting the news for a local television station in Guadix, where she lived and worked for two years. Although she loved every moment of presenting, she felt that gaining further qualifications would help prepare her for a long-term career in the media. She went on to complete an HND in Creative Media Production in Granada.

Verónica subsequently worked for several television channels and media production companies in Spain before making the difficult decision to leave her home country and move to Liverpool, UK. Arriving without speaking much English or understanding Scouse, she worked in a Spanish restaurant while attending English language school, quickly falling in love with Liverpool, its people and its passion for football — particularly Liverpool FC.
After years of hard work, she graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA in Tourism and Leisure Management. She then completed a Master’s degree in International Journalism in England, which led to her rapidly establishing herself as a freelance presenter and reporter within the UK media industry.

Since then, Verónica has presented a range of television programmes in both Spanish and English, as well as corporate videos and other media projects. She has worked as a freelance reporter and presenter with sports media organisations including AS, Marca, LFC TV and FTB Pro.
Verónica is also an experienced interviewer, having conducted interviews in both English and Spanish with a number of high-profile figures from the world of football and journalism, including Pepe Reina, Dani Pacheco, Luis García, Iago Aspas and renowned Spanish journalist Guillem Balagué.
Verónica continues to work across television, sports media, presenting and corporate productions, bringing her bilingual skills, international experience and passion for storytelling to every project.
In 2026, Veronica hosted Beyond the Persona – a series of intimate and honest interviews exploring football beyond the pitch, delving into family, identity, ambition, vulnerability and the experiences that have shaped each guest.
