Sam Quek MBE was one of the Team GB hockey players that won an Olympic gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic games.
Sam has since become an in demand TV presenter and host both for the BBC and within the corporate sphere.

Over the course of her international career, Sam has won 125 caps for the England and Great Britain women’s hockey teams.
As a defender, she was a key part of the England squad that won silver medals at the 2013 European Hockey Championships and the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
In 2015, she was a prominent member of the England team that won the Gold Medal at the European Hockey Championships in London, picking up the Man of the Match award in the final against reigning World and Olympic champions The Netherlands.
In 2016, Sam competed at the Rio Olympics as part of the Great Britain women’s hockey team. The team won Great Britain’s first ever women’s hockey Gold Medal after defeating The Netherlands again in a penalty shootout.
In 2017, Sam was awarded an MBE for services to hockey.
Since the Olympics, Sam has become a much in-demand sports TV & Radio broadcaster, building a hugely impressive presenting portfolio across a number of sports including football, NFL, hockey and rugby. She was also a contestant on the sixteenth series one of ITV’s flagship entertainment shows I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here where she made it to the final four. Sam has since appeared on a number of entertainment shows including A League Of Their Own, Britain’s Got Talent, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Chase and Play to the Whistle.
More recently, Sam co-presented BBC1’s Breakfast coverage of the Tokyo Olympics, was announced as the first female captain of a Question of Sport and began co-presenting The One Show.
