Robert White is a gay, autistic, quarter-Welsh comedian. He is known for his performance style, chaotic stage presence and brilliant timing, as well as coming second in Britain’s Got Talent in 2018.
More recently he supported The Hammersmith Apollo tour at Wembley, as well as being a sought-after headliner at London’s top clubs including The Top Secret Comedy Club.
He is now a sought-after act who regularly performs across the country and internationally. His off-the-wall jokes, improvisatory songs and interactive music stand him far apart from other comedy performances. In 2021 Robert went on tour with his The Tank Top Tour 2 show, which he took to 31 venues in the UK.
Robert White is a versatile performer who performs straight stand-up comedy, musical comedy or whole event hosing.
As well as a comedian, Robert is also a public speaker on autism. He is passionate about sharing his experience as someone with autism and Asperger’s syndrome, promote understanding. Through his unique charm, Robert challenges, delights and acts to promote awareness, foster change and action.

More About Robert White
Robert worked his way up the stand-up scene, starting in 2004 and found early success as a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire competition in 2006. Since then he has gone from strength to strength and in 2010 won the Malcolm Hardee main award at the Edinburgh Festival.
A regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2010, his shows regularly impress critics and audiences alike. Robert brought his brilliant comedy-opera InstruMENTAL to Edinburgh in 2017, astounding audiences with the show’s hilarious lyricism and musical ingenuity.
He now is a sought-after act who regularly performs in big clubs, little clubs, those in-between, theatres and festivals around the UK and abroad. He divides his time between comedy in gigs, tours and writing; songs and musicals and talking.
Robert White | Britain’s Got Talent
Robert took part in the 2018 Britain’s Got Talent and made it through to the finals, finishing in second place.
He sailed through his first audition, after his off-beat humour and fantastically rude song about the judges brought a standing ovation. Despite the blatant mocking, the judges all loved it and unanimously voted him through to the next stage. Robert raised the bar in the semi-final – poking fun at himself and his sexuality before performing an even ruder song about the panel.
His performances throughout were typically chaotic, but hilarious. Robert’s incredible stage presence and fast-paced comedy routines won over the judges and voting public, at every stage of the show.

Robert is available as a guest speaker at educational, corporate and charity events. He has spoken at a number of schools, charities and companies, including BT, Lloyds, Baringa, Babcock LDP, Nasen and Autistic Minds.
Robert shares his experience of having autism and Asperger’s syndrome and the coincidental aspects of autism as they acted in his life. Through his popular talks he aims to promote understanding at every level and highlight the issues facing those with autism. Trough his speaking he sets about challenge thinking,promote awareness and foster change.
