Jane McDonald is an English singer, actress, media personality and broadcaster, who became best-known to the public in 1998 after her appearance on the BBC show The Cruise.
She has since co-presented a number of daytime shows, including Loose Women between 2004 and 2014, ITV programme Star Treatment in 2013 and BAFTA award-winning Cruising with Jane McDonald from 2017.
Cruising with Jane McDonald won the 2018 BAFTA Award for Best Feature, making it the first win for a Channel 5 show.
After The Cruise, Jane signed a major record label contract. Over the last two decades she has released a number of hit albums, and concert DVDs.
Jane has also appeared on two Royal Variety Shows and Sunday Night at the London Palladium and has sold-out the London Palladium, The Royal Albert Hall, The MGM in Las Vegas and is the second largest grossing artist to appear at the Blackpool Opera House.
As a presenter, Jane first appeared as a guest on the BBC’s National Lottery. From 2004 -2014, Jane was a regular presenter on the ITV daytime show, Loose Women.
Her other television appearances include 10 Mile Menu, Let’s Do Lunch, Celebrity Ready, Steady, Cook, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Are You Smarter than a 10-Year-Old? and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and Christmas Top of the Pops.
Jane has established herself as a consummate all-rounder. She is a skilled TV host, an amusing panellist on discussion shows, an inspiring speaker and of course a gifted and highly successful singer.
