Cynthia V Davis began her business, with a new baby in tow, determined to make the world a fairer place. With her own experience as a woman of colour, BAME Recruitment was named due to the historic marginalisation of Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities in the UK.
She was nominated as one of the ‘Most Inspirational Women in Tech 2020-2023′ by Computer Weekly. Cynthia is also a Board Trustee at Over The Wall and a sought-after speaker on topics like diversity, equality, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Cynthia began her career as a Senior Consultant at Ellis Fairbank. She has worked for organizations like Carphone Warehouse, BT, and Creative Access, focusing on increasing visibility of minority groups and ensuring fair recruitment. Her passion for positive change in the workplace inspires others to prioritize diversity and inclusion.
In 2015, Cynthia founded the Diversifying Group and later co-founded Diversifying Jobs. Both businesses aim to create inclusive working environments and offer various services like talent attraction and training. Cynthia’s expertise led to her appointment as a Board Trustee at Over The Wall.
