So here they are, as ever some of these tips of engaging online meetings are obvious but so often forgotten:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

1. Making sure a calendar invite is sent and not just an email.<\/li>
2. Having a branded virtual screen<\/li>
3. Having a good camera and a USB lavalier lapel mic<\/li>
4. Ethernet cable from the router to my Mac<\/li>
5. Starting your online meetings 10 minutes before the hour as starting on the hour seems to have a few tech bugs<\/li>
6. Starting the session as I normally would standing up and having a laugh<\/li>
7. Openly talking about how the session will run, from my presenting style to the features we will be using<\/li>
8. Never teaching for longer than 1 hour and then having a 10-minute break.<\/li>
9. Plenty of water and food to hand<\/li>
10. Stay to the very end until everyone has left to say goodbye and answer any last-minute questions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
