An explainer video is a short corporate video – usually between one and three minutes long, with over 68% of consumers preferring sub-one-minute videos – that details a company’s product or service. Many companies like to showcase this in the form of an animation, but they can also be pieces presented to the camera by an in-house employee or a hired presenter. You’d usually find them either on the company’s homepage or product pages, depending on what the explainer is about.

So it’s important to remember that the presenter you choose is representing your brand and is just as important as selling your brand as the brand itself.
And as self-explanatory as it may seem, your presenter should reflect your target audience. So if your business is aimed at young mothers, a female presenter is far more likely to engage with your target audience, than a male presenter.
